Titanium Series Kitchen Sink / Baitcast
#1 Selling Baitcast Rod
If you could only own one baitcast rod, this is the one.
The Kitchen Sink earned its name for a reason — you can throw everything but the kitchen sink with it, and honestly, you could probably throw that too. This is FishStix's #1 selling baitcast rod, and it's not close. When serious inshore anglers don't know what the fish want, when conditions are changing, when one angler needs to cover every scenario on a full day on the water — they reach for the Kitchen Sink every time.
Seven feet of Medium power with Moderate-Fast action is the sweet spot for inshore saltwater versatility. The blank loads well enough to cast light presentations with accuracy, has the backbone to muscle fish out of structure, and the Moderate-Fast tip gives your lures the natural action that triggers bites. Paddle tails, topwaters, crankbaits, swimbaits, weedless rigs, jerkbaits — run it all. Change presentations as fast as the conditions change. The Kitchen Sink keeps up without skipping a beat.
Working grass lines, shell reefs, open pockets, tidal cuts, skinny flats, or back-country creeks — wherever inshore fish live, the Kitchen Sink belongs. This is the rod that earns a permanent spot on the deck because no matter what the morning throws at you, it's ready.
Now built on an upgraded lighter weight blank and outfitted with Titanium guides, the Titanium Series Kitchen Sink is smoother, more sensitive, and more corrosion-resistant than ever. The titanium guides load the line clean, cast after cast, all day long in the salt. Zero rust. Zero drag. Nothing slowing you down between you and the bite.
Not sure which baitcast rod is right for you? Start here. Experienced anglers already know — the Kitchen Sink is the one rod that never comes off the deck.

YES!
- For saltwater fishing the Kitchen Sink is a great all-around rod for using baitcast reels and the Coastal Pursuit is a great all-around rod for using spinning reels. Since these rods are both 7' Medium Power with Moderate Fast Action, they are great for throwing a wide variety of coastal baits such as live baits, topwaters, tails, popping cork, and even free lining.
- For freshwater fishing the Drum Stix is a great all-around rod for baitcast and spinning reels. The Drum Stix also has enough backbone to keep your fish out of structure such as rocks, grass and trees.
What is the difference between FishStix and "big box stores" fishing poles?
In a nutshell, the biggest difference is the approach to Research and Development of the rods.
A 100% of FishStix's R&D is spent to maximize the anglers' experience by building a custom rods for various fishing situations while most Big Box rods focus their R&D on maximizing volume and profit of the business. The difference with the finished product is obvious when you compare components, the combination of power, action and length.
FishStix rods are not mass produced, they are built by hand, made to last and designed through thousands of hours on the water.
Our rods are tested and proven by professional fisherman, guides and recreational anglers.

What is the difference between baitcast and spinning reel?
- Baitcast reels (commonly known for having to hold your thumb on the spool while casting to prevent backlash) provide pinpoint accuracy, smooth casting, and are usually lightweight. The baitcast reel is great for precision casting and easy to hold.
- Spinning reels are more commonly used throughout the fishing industry. They provide the ability to cast into the wind, with the wind, weightless, and even heavy baits with less hassle. Spinning reels are great from introductory to professional anglers.
What material are your rods made out of?
All of our rods are made with the highest quality graphite providing the most sensitive, lightest weight, and most durable rod.
Why are some of your rods longer or shorter than others?
Lengths play an intracule role in choosing your next rod. Long rods and short rods have their own benefits:
- Shorter rods are great for wade fishing because they make it easier to cast while standing in deep water and land your fish. Short rods are easier to store in your vehicle, house, and boat.
- Longer rods provide further casting distance, more leverage on your fish, and usually a longer grip. It is important to note that longer rods are more difficult to store, so be sure you are prepared with storage solutions.
Ultimately the length of the rod comes down to angler preference.
