Inshore Fishing Rod
Built for wade fishing, marsh casting, and shallow coastal water. FishStix inshore fishing rods use graphite blanks with fast action — sensitive enough to feel a subtle bite in two feet of water, with enough backbone to turn a hard-running redfish before it reaches the grass. Every rod in the lineup is designed from real time on the water by East Texas angler Hunter Welch.
Titanium Saltwater Fly Rods Built to Last
The FlyStix lineup takes the same inshore approach and puts it in a fly rod. A FishStix saltwater fly rod is a 9-foot, 4-piece graphite blank with titanium guides, built to load fast in coastal wind and hold up to a full season in the salt. It breaks down for travel without going soft in the middle.
The 8-weight is the everyday inshore rod: enough backbone to punch a fly into the wind, enough tip to feel a redfish inhale a crab pattern off the bottom. The 11-weight is for heavier flies and bigger fish, tarpon, bull reds, and jack crevalle, when you need line speed more than finesse. Both are stalking tools first, built for reds on skinny flats and trout along grass lines.
Inshore Custom Fishing Rods, Built to Fish
Every FishStix rod is a custom inshore fishing rod — and every one is built as a custom saltwater fishing rod from the ground up, not adapted from a generic freshwater blank. Actions, lengths, and guides are chosen specifically for wade fishing, marsh casting, and targeting redfish, trout, and flounder in real inshore environments. Available in spinning or baitcast, in multiple colors — teal, pink, black — on the same high-performance graphite blank. Made in Texas.
